About This Role

You'll build the production interfaces that connect our Pawa-Med™ AI to healthcare providers and patients. From real-time streaming AI responses to WhatsApp bot integrations and clinical dashboards — you'll ship code that runs at scale.

We are prioritizing builders who are deeply curious, mission-driven, and excited to grow fast while solving real African healthcare problems.

What You'll Do

  • Build and maintain Next.js 14 frontend features with TypeScript
  • Integrate Self-hosted models APIs and streaming AI responses into production UI
  • Build WhatsApp and SMS bot flows using Twilio/Meta APIs
  • Design and optimize Psql databases schemas for healthcare data
  • Implement real-time features using Psql Realtime and WebSockets
  • Own features end-to-end from design to deployment on Vercel/Render/Cloudflare

Requirements

  • Proficient in React/Next.js and modern JavaScript/TypeScript
  • Experience with REST APIs and integrating third-party services
  • Basic understanding of databases (PostgreSQL
  • Supabase
  • or similar)
  • Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to ship fast

Nice to Have

  • Experience building AI-native or LLM-integrated applications
  • Knowledge of LangChain
  • Vercel AI SDK
  • or similar AI toolkits
  • Experience with WebSocket or real-time data architectures
  • Exposure to healthcare data standards (HL7
  • FHIR)
