About This Role
Bridge the gap between clinical expertise and AI development. You'll work alongside our clinical advisors and AI researchers to curate African healthcare datasets, validate AI diagnostic outputs, and help ensure our models are clinically safe and culturally appropriate.

What You'll Do
- Curate and annotate medical datasets from African clinical sources
- Conduct clinical validation studies for AI diagnostic tools
- Review and quality-check AI outputs for clinical safety
- Write clinical evaluation protocols and documentation
- Collaborate with radiologists, clinicians, and AI engineers
- Support IRB documentation and ethical review processes
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a medical degree (MBChB, MD) or biomedical sciences
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Passion for digital health and AI in clinical settings
- Basic data literacy (Excel/Google Sheets, simple statistics)
- Excellent written communication skills
Nice to Have
- Experience with clinical research or academic medical writing
- Basic Python or R for data analysis
- Familiarity with medical AI ethics and bias in healthcare
- Knowledge of African disease patterns and health systems
